Employment Relations Expertise

This role involves a high level of expertise in employment relations, with a strong focus on strategic and tactical advice on industrial instruments and employment regulations.

As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in enhancing employee engagement through the development and implementation of employment relations strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive employment relations frameworks to support organizational strategic direction and fulfill legislative, industrial, and employer responsibilities.
  2. Manage complex employment relations matters, including case management, investigations, disciplinary action, and representation in tribunals.
  3. Provide expert advice on industrial instruments and employment regulations to achieve compliant and commercially viable solutions.
  4. Brief legal representation and represent the organization in various tribunals.
About You / Qualifications
  • A highly experienced professional with extensive knowledge of employment relations and experience providing strategic and tactical advice on industrial instruments and employment regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills; ability to liaise, consult, and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in managing union relationships, disputes, and enterprise bargaining activities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
