Sustainability Specialist

The Parklife Metro Consortium is undertaking a major metro rail infrastructure project in Sydney, Australia. This city shaping project will provide significant economic stimulus for the region.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Construction Sustainability Specialist to play a key role in delivering sustainable outcomes for the project. The successful candidate will support the project team to understand their sustainability obligations, identify and implement sustainability initiatives, and ensure the project meets its sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to design, construction, commercial, operational, and other key project teams on sustainability requirements.
  • Track and monitor progress of sustainability rating tool submissions.
  • Compile and monitor against project sustainability reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing management of project environmental & sustainability management systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in sustainability, engineering, environmental engineering, or equivalent, with experience in working on construction sites and delivering sustainability management plans and contract sustainability targets. ISAP and/or GSAP certification and experience delivering an Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) and Green Star Ratings is preferred.
