We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist - Senior (Rehabilitation) to join our team at The State of Queensland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, leadership, and promoting education in the area of rehabilitation to patients, community, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct advanced level clinical services to a complex caseload, applying independent professional judgement and high-level evidence-based principles.
- Contribute to clinical research activities within rehabilitation, aligning with organisational objectives.
- Provide high-level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors.
- Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution.
- AHPRA Registration.
- A post-graduate qualification within a rehabilitation field would be highly regarded.
- Evidence of vaccination, or ability to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (The State of Queensland will cover cost).
- Permanent full-time and permanent part-time positions available.
- Base salary ranging from $124,435 - $133,901 per annum or $67.53 per hour.
The State of Queensland Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Service provides patient-focused, goal-oriented care within a multidisciplinary team aimed at improving functional ability in patients with a range of conditions, including acquired brain injury, spinal injury, neurological conditions, limb amputation, traumatic injuries, and post-surgery.
