Key Role Summary

The Aftermarket Service Engineer will be a key point of contact for clients, providing expert technical guidance and support to ensure Eriez equipment delivers value beyond the initial purchase.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their performance requirements and propose tailored aftermarket solutions, reviewing and renewing customer contracts as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective aftermarket sales strategies, cross-selling products and services to provide after-sales service support.
  • Mentor customers and internal teams on product maintenance, upgrades, parts, and service best practices.
  • BUILD opportunity pipelines, quotes, costings, and tenders using an ERP system, supporting Rep Agents, Resellers, and Distributors.
  • Lead technical presentations, demos, quoting, and issue resolution with professionalism and clarity.
  • Nurture enduring relationships that drive revenue, loyalty, and brand advocacy through regular customer site visits and spare parts reviews.

This role requires frequent customer site visits, phone, and online support to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Required Expertise
  • A strong engineering background (mechanical, electrical, materials, or similar) with excellent technical fluency.
  • Technical experience in sales engineering or aftermarket roles (a bonus if in manufacturing, heavy industry, or equipment).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using SAGE or other ERP systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A self-motivated, customer-first mindset with ease in remote collaboration.
  • A keen eye for technical details, able to decipher complex drawings.
