As a Solution Specialist, you are focused on driving customers to adopt Microsoft Teams calling by applying your deep knowledge of our products and services combined with Microsoft's licensing and modern work portfolio. Key Responsibilities

This is how you'll bring the purpose of your role to life.

  • Make a strong contribution to sales and revenue growth through developing and maintaining a strong qualified pipeline of incremental opportunities in relation to Microsoft calling solutions, including developing customer proposals and responding to RFPs.
  • Leverage expertise in technology solutions and sales to manage sales opportunities from identification and qualification to closing.
  • Use your strong technical knowledge of Microsoft licensing and solutions with Telstra's UC offerings to identify and build qualified pipeline.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, relating to the value proposition for customer offers, while maintaining the protection of Telstra's commercial interests and ensuring business plans continue to meet company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in solution requirements and assist in new customer solution development and management.
  • Draw on knowledge gained via industry trends and competitive marketplace analysis to provide input into customer deals and support in the development of business strategies for revenue generation.
  • Engage with stakeholders to participate in or support solution requirements, and assist in new solution introduction, development, and management.
  • Provide guidance on the effective use of technology and solutions in order to achieve business outcomes in alignment with customer requirements, including recommendations on Adaptive Collaboration features, benefits and Telstra's Microsoft capabilities for professional services delivery.
About you

To be successful in the role, you'll bring skills and experience in:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in technology sales, preferably with Microsoft products.
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) certified
  • Experience with Microsoft CSP Sales and MCI Programs
Technologies & Platforms
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams calling
Systems & Tools
  • Microsoft Partner Center
Methodologies & Frameworks
  • Business case development and ROI modeling
  • Experience aligning with Microsoft's solution sales methodologies and MCI sales plays is a plus
