**Job Opportunity:** Senior Accountant Wanted

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including payroll and liabilities for 30-35 staff members. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Create BAS, IAS, Superannuation, and other tax lodgement documents ensuring compliance
  • Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Payroll for 30-35 staff weekly, including recording and submitting Superannuation and Leave accurately
  • Prepare month-end reports
  • Reconcile merchant accounts
  • Conduct analysis and cash flow forecasting
  • Manage debtor accounts and collections
  • Record journal entries and perform accrual accounting
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience as a senior bookkeeper or
  • 3 years as an accredited CPA with bookkeeping experience, preferably within a manufacturing business involved in supply and installation
  • Experience using MYOB, XERO, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ERP systems and integration in accounting software
