Role Summary

We are seeking a senior professional to coordinate, monitor and manage all health, safety & training requirements for our organization. This position will predominantly work Monday to Friday in an office environment with regular site visits.

 

About the Role
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards across various sectors.
  • Develop and review organizational training manuals and competency packages aligning with industry standards.
  • Monitor and maintain a register of calibrated assets, ensuring they are assigned and have current certification.
  • Review incident reports and investigations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct risk assessments and participate in site incident investigations to implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and facilitate analysis of risk reviews to ensure effective mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with site teams and provide ongoing support as required.
Requirements
  • Cert IV in OHS (or equivalent) and Cert IV in Training & Assessment.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a safety professional role within mining, preferably underground.
  • Good knowledge of Workplace/Mine Health & Safety legislation.
  • Proven leadership skills in risk management, incident investigation, and safety leadership.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid manual driver's license.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance.
  • A positive work ethic and attitude.
