Job Description">

The Senior Mechanical Engineer position is a pivotal role in the development of next-generation data center equipment.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative mechanical solutions using Creo 3D CAD and other relevant software.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with 7+ years of experience in designing computer/network equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing mechanical solutions for data center equipment
  • Scheduling and managing peer and cross-functional team reviews of designs
  • Developing and releasing product specifications, bill of materials, and change documentation
  • Collaborating with ECAD designers and electrical engineers to address placement concerns and check final PCB designs
  • Working with suppliers and CMs to address DFM concerns and resolve manufacturing issues

Additional qualifications include:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant experience in ECO, BOM, and Deviation processes
  • Experience with ProEngineer (PTC Creo) and Mechanica (PTC Creo Simulate) is a plus
  • Ability to lift weights upwards of 50 pounds
