Job Description

The Snowy 2.0 project is a large-scale construction undertaking situated in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, Australia.

This iconic project forms part of the Future Generation Joint Venture, combining the collective engineering expertise and knowledge of experienced professionals from WeBuild, Clough and Lane.

The position of Traffic & Transport Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, materials, and personnel within the construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and coordinating daily traffic and transport activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with construction crews, transportation providers, and project teams to coordinate vehicle and material logistics.
  • Facilitating effective communication between project teams, transportation authorities, and stakeholders regarding traffic management plans and updates.
  • Addressing traffic and transport-related challenges promptly and providing support in decision-making processes to optimize traffic flow and transport logistics.
  • Maintaining accurate records of traffic management plans, incidents, and transportation schedules.

Requirements:

  • Relevant certification or diploma in Traffic Management, Logistics or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in transport management, logistics, or a related role, preferably in the construction industry.
