Seeking a skilled engineering professional to coordinate across multiple projects, ensuring efficient completion within contract specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include electrical design, reviews, approvals, testing, and commissioning, as well as providing technical support and expertise.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate engineering discipline across several projects to ensure cost-effective completion within contract specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct electrical design, reviews, approvals, testing, and commissioning.
  • Prepare complete project documents in one's area of responsibility and serve as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts and methods.
  • Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs and support Contract Managers in issuing claims.
  • Create work plans and cost estimates in one's area of responsibility and review and approve scope, budget, and schedule for assignments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience coupled with related industry experience in High Voltage equipment and power substations.
  • Substantial experience in providing engineering advice and support including functional specification development, design coordination, safety in design, constructability reviews, testing, and commissioning.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing relevant standards such as Australian Engineering and Technical standards (AS/IEC).
  • Proficient with MS Office package and able to draft/read drawings.
  • Able to communicate/discuss complex technical topics with clients and possess a high level of self-motivation and curiosity.
