Procurement Strategist Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive indirect procurement strategy across diverse non-property categories.
  • Design and implement sourcing strategies, conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and cost modelling to drive business value.
  • Manage the entire RFx process, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and ensure contract compliance.
  • Provide timely and accurate procurement analytics and reporting on spend, savings, KPIs, and supplier risk.
  • Support the development of strong supplier relationships through performance reviews and compliance monitoring.
  • Drive operational excellence by leveraging procurement systems, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed procurement best practices, policies, and processes throughout the organization.

About You:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field (CIPS preferred).
  • Possess 2-4 years' experience in indirect procurement or commercial sourcing, with a corporate or real estate environment being desirable.
  • Display strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Have experience working with eProcurement platforms, such as Coupa, Zycus, Tenderlinks, or Global Rapid.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ESG, sustainability, supplier diversity, and modern slavery compliance.
  • Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced and changing environments.
  • Exhibit strong commercial acumen and a cost-conscious mindset.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
