We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Midwifery Unit Manager to join our Maternity Services team.

About You:

  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care in a maternity setting, with a strong understanding of current best practices and research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide leadership and guidance to a team of midwives to ensure that our Maternity Services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
  • To collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 3 years Midwifery experience.
  • Level 3 RANZCOG.
  • Credentialing for other clinical skills including IV cannulation, suturing and newborn discharge examination.
