Electrical Engineering Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to a range of exciting projects across various sectors.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical design for both single and multi-disciplinary projects, with the ability to lead small to medium-sized design projects and ensure best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines.

  • Electrical Design Expertise: Provide leadership on electrical design projects, particularly in high-rise residential towers, commercial and tertiary education, aviation, and healthcare.
  • Project Leadership: Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients and internal colleagues to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Best Practices and Cost Optimization: Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising quality.
  • Client Relationship Development: Build strong relationships with clients and identify new business development opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
  • Strong expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation
  • 6-10+ years' industry experience on Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment
  • Well-versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills
  • Capacity to lead, train, and mentor junior engineers
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes
