Greenkeeper Position

At Country Club Tasmania, we are seeking a skilled Greenkeeper to join our team. As a Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of our golf course, ensuring it remains a premier destination for golf enthusiasts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the golf course, including bunker maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations
- Ensuring the course is set up to the highest standard for play
- Monitoring weather conditions and adjusting maintenance schedules accordingly
- Maintaining equipment and performing routine checks
- Caring for trees and shrubs on the course
- Managing irrigation systems to ensure optimal course conditions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate in Sports Turf Management (or be willing to complete an apprenticeship)
- Excellent availability across a 7-day rotating roster
- A passion for the outdoors and golf course design
- Landscaping experience
- A forklift license and chemical handling certificate would be advantageous
