Research Fellowship Opportunity

This exciting research fellowship provides a chance to contribute to the development of high-impact research projects in partnership with external stakeholders. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will have the opportunity to make a real-world impact by collaborating with experts in creative practice disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of School and other researchers to build the research capacity of the Hub
  • Contribute to the development of high-impact research projects in partnership with external stakeholders
  • Engage in policy debates relevant to the XR Screen Futures hub research program
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a high-achieving research culture
  • Manage partnerships effectively to achieve research outcomes

Requirements:

  • Completion of a PhD in a relevant discipline area (e.g. film, animation, game design and interaction, digital performance, virtual production, digital media, spatial sound and music technology)
  • Successful experience in attracting funding or completion of a PhD within the past 3 years at time of appointment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a research team
