Victorian Tutor Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a tutor for Year 7 and 8 students.

The role involves mentoring and guiding students, providing them with the knowledge and confidence they need to excel in their exams. The successful candidate will have access to high-quality teaching materials and will be required to focus primarily on what they do best - tutoring and inspiring students to reach their full potential.

We are Victoria's largest and fastest-growing educational support service. Our TestPrep programs are designed to provide comprehensive, innovative and results-driven support to students and their families preparing for key tests in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly group classes for small groups of students across Years 6-8, covering Mathematics and English.
  • Provide one-on-one consultations with students and parents to evaluate student progress, identify areas for improvement, and make a tailored improvement plan to accelerate their development.
  • Mark student submissions and provide prompt, targeted feedback as part of our essay marking process.

Experience & Academic Requirements

  • Attended a Victorian selective school (Melbourne High, Mac.Robertson Girls', Nossal High, or Suzanne Cory High)
  • High ATAR with strong raw scores in VCE Maths and English highly preferred
  • Experience with competitive examinations strongly favoured
