About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and in the community, promoting independence and empowering them to achieve their goals.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal planning, and light cleaning, to ensure the individuals we support have a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each person we support.
  • Work collaboratively with other support workers, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with disabilities.

Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a support worker role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the principles of person-centered support.
