Data Center Business Development Manager

The Operations Manager will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities within data center projects, leading the bid process through to successful project execution.
This role involves establishing and implementing strategic directions for national business growth, ensuring state revenue expansion, and collaborating with sales and pre-contract teams to achieve yearly revenue targets.
The Operations Manager will develop effective strategies for financial success, build strong relationships with major clients, identify business risk profiles, and foster a culture that promotes high performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivating new business opportunities within data center projects
- Leading bids from inception to completion
- Establishing and implementing strategic directions for national business growth
- Ensuring state revenue expansion and meeting yearly revenue targets
- Developing effective strategies for financial success
- Building strong relationships with major clients
- Identifying business risk profiles and mitigating high-risk elements
- Fostering a culture that promotes high performance, safety, and continuous improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent fields
- Solid experience working with data center projects
- Understanding of financial data and ability to interpret and make decisions based on financial information
- Understanding of risk allocation, commercial, and contractual obligations
- Customer-focused, team-oriented, accountable, and results-driven individual
