CNC Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Metal Machinist to join our team at West Coast Sheet Metal. As a CNC Metal Machinist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute machining operations to produce high-quality parts, adhering to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement new machining processes and techniques.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality control procedures and processes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest CNC technology and techniques.
- Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade or Fitter & Turner) or similar.
- Desired understanding and/or familiarity of Mastercam software.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Conceptual skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of controls and instrumentation.
- Proactive and motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
