We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Plena Healthcare. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality clinical services to our clients in Residential Aged Care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering physiotherapy services in accordance with Plena Healthcare's operating procedures and policies.
- Support clients in Residential Aged Care settings in accordance with Allied Health Professionals treatment plans.
- Transport residents to and from therapy sessions, set up and pack away equipment, and perform administrative tasks as guided by physiotherapists.
- Run exercise groups and programs, and support initiatives to meet client and contract expectations.
- Consult with physiotherapists and occupational therapists on adaptations, changes, and progressions of treatment plans for clients.
- Participate in mentoring, supervision, and appraisals in line with Plena Healthcare's policy and procedure.
- Minimum Cert III Allied Health Assistant or equivalent.
- Australian working rights.
- Willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check.
- Healthcare knowledge and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
