Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Electrician to fulfill electrical maintenance and servicing requirements across customer sites. This role involves promptly responding to equipment breakdowns, ensuring high safety standards and exceptional customer service.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep and repair of electrical plant and equipment on customer premises. This includes carrying out routine calibrations, repairing equipment in accordance with trade practices, and maintaining accurate records of all service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular electrical calibrations as necessary, adhering to established procedures.
  • Effectively repair equipment using accepted trade practices.
  • Respond swiftly to equipment failures, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Maintain open communication with customers, providing timely updates on service schedules and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Assist in inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels of spare parts.
  • Utilize electronic platforms to manage service information and documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed service repair records.
  • Identify and rectify electrical faults across a range of equipment, applying analytical and problem-solving skills.
