Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team in Wollongong and surrounding suburbs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, manual handling, domestic assistance, and varying shifts.
  • Provide social support, transportation to appointments, shopping, or community outings.
  • Cultivate a positive relationship with clients, promoting their dignity and respect.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A caring and empathetic personality is essential.
  • Willingness to learn new skills through training.
  • Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Experience in aged care or community work is highly valued.
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required.
  • Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Police Check (mandatory) or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker screening check or willingness to obtain.
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
