Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Design Engineer to work with us in creating innovative trailer designs. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian Design Regulations (ADR) and Performance Based Standards (PBS).

  • Develop new and creative trailer designs that meet the requirements of our customers.
  • Use industry-leading software such as SolidWorks CAD package to design products for the road transportation industry.
  • Apply product development methodologies to ensure assembly feasibility and support strict production targets.
  • Translate customer needs into technical specifications.
  • Review drawings, designs, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prioritize and manage workload to meet or exceed project deadlines.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering roles within the heavy haulage, automotive, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, TrailerWIN, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a detail-oriented mindset.
