**Join Midland as our Design and Engineering Manager**

Are you ready to take your leadership and design skills to the next level? Midland is looking for a motivated and experienced **Design and Engineering Manager** to oversee and drive excellence within our engineering and drafting team, based in our Kyneton, Victoria branch.

As the **Design and Engineering Manager**, you'll manage the scheduling, design, quality, and delivery of projects. You'll bring value engineering, continuous improvement, and team satisfaction to the forefront, ensuring every project meets or exceeds client expectations. This role will require collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, including engineers, suppliers, and consultants, to maintain a seamless flow of design and product information.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Management**: Oversee and control the design process, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
- **Collaboration**: Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support collaborative practices.
- **Client Engagement**: Drive client satisfaction through consistent and informative communication throughout the design process.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and support the team by identifying strengths, addressing gaps, and fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.
- **Reporting**: Prepare budgets and reports, ensuring design plans stay on track and align with project goals.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Drafting and experience in the heavy vehicle industry.
- A strong understanding of relevant standards, codes, and industry regulations.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a passion for team development, continuous improvement, and quality.
- Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to solving design challenges.
