About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing the installation of building services, including electrical, HVAC, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Coordinate Building Services: Develop and implement building services designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Project Management: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of services into construction projects.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant codes.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the construction process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of service engineering practices within the company.
  • Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management: Ensure the implementation of project requirements for Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Building Services experience on complex projects.
  • Principal Contractor or Sub-Contractor Experience: Previous experience working with Principal Contractors or Sub-Contractors.
  • Large Commercial, Data Centres, or Government Style Projects: Must have worked on large commercial, data centres, or government style projects from $50m-$100m.
  • Front End Design and Delivery Experience: Ideally, both front-end design and delivery experience.
  • Computer Skills: Strong all-round computer skills.
