Software Engineering Leader Position

We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Lead to drive the adoption of Rust into our technology offerings. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers who want to work on high-quality software and shape the future of Linux systems.


This role will involve designing, implementing, and advocating for Rust-based solutions in our projects. Our ideal candidate has experience with Rust software development, passion for Linux at the system level, professional written and spoken English, excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.


The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing well-tested and well-documented Rust software
  • Advocating for Rust adoption in our projects and upstream initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities for Rust-based solutions in our codebases
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
