Workplace health, injury management and safety specialists deliver high-standard services across personal injury and occupational health. Our team focuses on recovery and function to help clients get back to work and life. We provide services through federal and state-based Workers Compensation schemes and Motor Accident Insurance.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will use your clinical skills to support Australian Defence Force personnel who have sustained physical and psychological injuries. A unique role with meaningful rewards. Be part of the team that helps our military recover and serve Australia.

  • Take a holistic care approach, working in a multidisciplinary team to support clients from rehabilitation to healing
  • Perform various assessments based on your area of expertise. This may include functional capacity evaluations, workplace or activities of daily living assessments
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including injured employees, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals
  • Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans

Service delivery outcomes are key performance indicators, not billable hours. We focus on genuine person-centred approaches and goal setting.

We offer set working hours for a healthy work-life balance – no overtime or work outside of regular hours. Enjoy early starts and finishes: 7:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will be based at Robertson Barracks. If needed, flexible options are available.

To succeed:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies is required
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work are essential
  • Australian citizenship is necessary
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills are crucial
  • Ability to engage effectively in multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals is vital
  • Passion for helping people recover and rehabilitate is essential
