Radiation Therapy Department Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiation Therapy Manager to lead our Radiation Therapy Department at Icon Cancer Centre in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of the Radiation Therapy workforce and service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective leadership and management to the Radiation Therapist team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Establish and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety, continually enhancing the service and patient experience.
- Ensure suitable training and support services are provided to the Radiation Therapists, promoting their professional development and growth.
- Apply effective resource and workflow management strategies to optimize quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Maintain good working relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Support change management initiatives and implement related processes, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to services.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and radiation therapy services. You will have a strong background in radiation therapy, with experience in leading clinical teams and managing the complexities of a healthcare business. You will be a highly developed communicator and leader, with the ability to inspire trust and strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements- Undergraduate or Post-Graduate tertiary qualification in Radiation Therapy.
- Current registration with MRPBA (AHPRA).
- Valid Radiation Use License in Victoria.
- Member of relevant professional bodies (e.g., ESTRO, ASTRO, ASMIRT, TROG, etc).
