Transforming the lives of aged care residents requires a dedicated Physiotherapist who can provide comprehensive assessments and deliver personalised treatment plans. In this role, you will be a vital member of a large, supportive multidisciplinary team working together to empower residents to live well.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop clinical recommendations that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
- Implement falls prevention and mobility programs that promote independence and confidence.
- Deliver one-on-one and group-based functional therapy sessions that focus on improving physical function and overall wellbeing.
- Prescribe equipment and manage skin integrity to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Develop and implement active aging services that foster social interaction and community engagement.
What You'll Need
- A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from a reputable institution.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Willingness to undergo NDIS Worker Screening and National Police Check.
