The Role

As a Real Estate Associate, you will work alongside our esteemed partners and contribute to shaping the real estate landscape in Queensland. With numerous government infrastructure projects underway, this is an ideal time to join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in significant property projects and transactions, providing expert advice to clients.
  • Participate in capital transactions for institutional clients, ensuring seamless deal execution.
  • Contribute to social and affordable housing initiatives, driving positive change in the community.
  • Work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation.
  • Support transport projects aimed at enhancing rail and road networks, ensuring efficient and safe transportation systems.
  • Involve in various infrastructure projects, providing strategic advice to clients.
  • Handle major commercial, industrial, and head office leasing matters, delivering exceptional results for clients.

Skills & Experience:

  • Broad property experience across various matters, with a strong understanding of real estate law.
  • Minimum 3 years' PQE as a lawyer, with a background in private practice or in-house roles (Lawyers up to Senior Associate level are welcome to apply).
  • Experience with government clients is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and deliverables independently.
  • Leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and coaching junior lawyers, driving team success.
  • Capacity to challenge the norm and a solid understanding of key real estate principles, with a focus on exceptional client service.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, with strong time management and project management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to contribute to a positive team culture, resilient and self-motivated with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
