Job Description:As a Product Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the development process and maintaining quality standards. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet stakeholder requirements.
You will be responsible for developing seasonal ranges from concept to production, ensuring alignment with brand vision and customer expectations. This includes managing supplier relationships, liaising with manufacturers, and reviewing samples to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop seasonal ranges from concept to production, ensuring alignment with brand vision and customer expectations.
- Maintain quality standards and brand attributes across all products to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Build and nurture supplier relationships to drive commercial success.
- Drive the development process and maintain policies to ensure projects run to schedule and within budget.
- Liaise with manufacturers to deliver samples on time and to specification.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record in end-to-end product development, ideally within the footwear industry. You should possess strong negotiation and supplier management skills, as well as technical understanding of fit, quality, and production processes.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are also essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A passion for driving business growth and intermediate Microsoft Office skills are highly desirable.
