We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Engineer to join our team at Technetics Consulting. Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Deliver high-quality customer service experiences while working in a highly motivated and collaborative Service Desk team.
- Incident Management: Manage and resolve client incidents and requests to meet required SLAs, working from a queue and assigned tickets.
- Process Adherence: Adhere to Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes as per company customer standards (ITIL Framework).
- Documentation: Amend and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for customer environments.
- On-Call Support: Provide after-hours on-call assistance and/or escalation on a rotating basis.
- Local IT Experience: Local IT experience in multi-server, multi-site, multi-domain environments.
- Windows Server Administration: Windows server and workstation administration skills.
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Experience with hardware troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Backup Technologies: Experience with backup technologies (on-premise and cloud).
- Virtualization Technologies: Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware and/or Hyper-V).
- Networking Skills: Intermediate networking skills – routing / switching / wireless.
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alert management.
- Client Service Skills: Excellent client service skills and communication skills.
- MSP Experience: MSP experience and/or experience with supporting schools is highly advantageous.
- Car/License: Car/License required for onsite field work.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work in office and at client premises is essential.
- Australian Citizenship: Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Working with Children Check: Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check.
- Cloud Services: Cloud services exposure/experience desirable (MS Azure).
- Anti-Virus Management: Anti-Virus management and Microsoft update deployment experience.
- Hosted VOIP Solutions: Administration experience with hosted VOIP solutions.
- IT Management Tools: Experience with ConnectWise, IT Glue, Kaseya toolsets or similar products.
- Certifications: Microsoft and/or networking certifications would be superb.
- Apple Device Support: Experience providing support for Apple devices in corporate or educational institutions.
