Job Overview

The Anatomical Pathology Junior Registrar role is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, effective, person-centred care.

This position involves working in the Anatomical Pathology Department, which provides comprehensive training and services to Canberra Health Services and the ACT region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver histopathology, cytopathology, and perinatal autopsy services
  • Conduct laboratory techniques, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, molecular techniques, electron microscopy, quality assurance, medical school teaching, and research

Preference will be given to applicants who have passed the Basic Pathological Sciences Examination set by the RCPA.

Requirements:
  • Hold a current resumé
  • Submit a response to the selection criteria under 'what you require' in no more than two pages, outlining your skills, knowledge, and experience
  • Provide two referee reports, at least one from a current supervisor
