Airfield Program Development Manager

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of the Melbourne Airport's third runway (M3R) program.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of assigned tasks within the M3R project, ensuring timely completion and meeting APAM's strategic objectives.
You will work closely with stakeholders to keep them informed about progress and ensure effective coordination across business units and program groups.
A strong focus on collaboration, communication, and problem-solving is essential for success in this role.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the successful delivery of assigned tasks within the M3R project
- Be a key point of contact for stakeholders in assigned tasks
- Keep stakeholders up to speed with progress in delivery of assigned tasks
- Ensure coordination of capital project activities across other business units and program groups
- Ensure cross collaboration across BU functions including drawing in APAM SMEs as required to support Project Delivery
- Ensure projects are being progressed to meet APAM requirements in delivery of benefits
- Play a key role in engagement of internal and external stakeholders
- Escalate issues/ matters for direction as needed
- Monitor the project teams to ensure the brief and scope are being delivered
- Ensure tasks and activities are being progressed to meet respective commercial agreement target
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualified with experience in planning, development and delivery of projects in the Built Environment.
- Aviation and airfield program/project management experience desired
- Understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
- Strong financial/commercial acumen including development of business cases and development financial appraisals
- Ability to produce results within a given timeframe
- High level of motivation and proven experience driving project outcomes
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal and able to communicate at all levels of organisations
- Ability to make sound decisions and problem solve and provide the business with solutions
