Role Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Guest Services Specialist. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in our rooms.

The successful candidate will possess strong time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently within allocated hours to complete cleaning tasks. Collaboration with team members is essential to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards while utilizing specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within allocated hours
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals
  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards
  • Use specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided)
  • Good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive tasks like bending, lifting, and standing
  • Professional communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
