About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our NDIS division in Canberra. As a clinician, you will work with clients of varying ages and abilities, providing assessment and intervention services to support their communication and swallowing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans to support clients' communication and swallowing goals
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, including communication and swallowing therapy, to clients of varying ages and abilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure effective communication and support
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in speech pathology

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Registration or ability to become registered with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • A car and driver's license
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to acquire one for client-facing roles
