Speech Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team at Northcott. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality assessment and intervention services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers to ensure informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Contribute to the development of professional knowledge and skills within the Speech Pathology profession through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience delivering evidence-based therapy to a paediatric, adolescent, and/or adult caseload.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and administrative responsibilities in an autonomous, efficient, and effective manner.
  • An understanding of the NDIS framework and working within a fee-for-service model is desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
