About the Role:

This position involves providing in-home care and supporting participants with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, and medication administration.

  • Assisting participants with domestic duties to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
  • Empowering participants to achieve their personal goals and fostering independence.

You will be working closely with an Area Manager who will provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to ensure you are delivering the best care possible.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in the disability sector.
  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions, especially schizophrenia, is highly beneficial.
  • Previous experience with wound care (MRSA) is advantageous; however, training and PPE are provided.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certificates.
  • A Certificate III in Disability (or similar) or higher.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections with participants.
  • A commitment to Person-Centered Practices, advocating for the autonomy and well-being of each individual.
  • Organizational skills and a proactive approach to care delivery.
  • NDIS Workers Check.
  • A valid NSW Driver's License (or equivalent) and access to your own car is desirable.
