The Policy Officer will play a vital role in delivering high-quality risk and business continuity reports to the department's enterprise risk and strategic governance committees.

This is an opportunity to work in a high-performing team that delivers products to support frontline and corporate staff in effectively and confidently performing their duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality risk and business continuity reports to the department's enterprise risk and strategic governance committees
  • Coordination of quarterly risk reporting to ensure the department meets its risk management requirements
  • Providing high-level advice, support, and customer service to stakeholders in divisions and regions in relation to risk and business continuity
  • Supporting and developing products and processes to build organisational capability in risk management and business continuity
  • Quality assuring information for alignment to policies, procedures, and requirements.

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and coordination skills
  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of systems and processes
  • Excellent communicator who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work across a number of areas, and prioritise accordingly
