Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Metals Advisory Lead to join our team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A advisory, with a focus on the metals and mining sector. The role will involve leading day-to-day project management and transaction execution, as well as building client relationships and rapport at appropriate levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and execute high-quality M&A mandates in the Metals & Mining sector.
  • BUILD client rapport and relationships at appropriate levels.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of M&A processes and legal/regulatory framework.
  • Lead day-to-day project management and transaction execution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Investment Banking or M&A advisory.
  • Track record of M&A transaction execution, across buy-side and sell-side transactions.
  • Strong understanding of M&A valuation methodologies, including DCF modelling, merger analysis, trading and transaction comparables.
  • Effective communication skills - both written and verbal.
