Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our team at Upper Kedron. As a Swim Teacher, you will deliver play-based lessons that spark joy and confidence in every child.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about teaching swimming and has excellent communication skills. You will work closely with children and families to create a safe, inclusive environment that makes everyone feel welcome and seen.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, supporting day-to-day operations, and celebrating progress in meaningful ways. If you have a flair for creating memorable moments, staying curious, leading with kindness, and bringing energy to everything you do, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and fun swimming lessons that cater to the needs of each child
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social interaction and emotional intelligence
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support the development of children's physical and emotional skills through tailored lesson plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • CPR certification
  • Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
