About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, working on regional projects within the transmission and distribution global discipline. This role offers opportunities to work across various sectors, including major infrastructure, energy, and renewables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake hands-on electrical design, including LV, MV, and HV design, earthing and bonding design, traction power substations, and transmission and distribution substations.
  • Provide design calculations, drawings, and specifications, with some supervision of junior team members.
  • Review and check electrical designs.
  • Execute design management responsibilities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A recognized tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering degree.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Australian Standards and legislation, as well as Authority Standards.
  • Experience in designing 25kV AC & 1500V DC traction power substations, including primary and secondary detailed design.
  • Transmission and distribution substations primary and secondary design experience is beneficial.
