**Job Overview:**

The Supercomputing Asset Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing robust asset management policies and processes that support the lifecycle of supercomputing capability assets.

Key responsibilities include planning, leading, and managing human and physical resources to achieve business outcomes. Accountable for actively managing key stakeholder relationships, identifying relevant expectations and concerns, and communicating methodologies and practices to achieve outcomes.

**Position Duties:**

  • Lead a team, manage allocated resources, set work area priorities, manage workflows, and evaluate business outcomes.
  • Conduct annual supercomputing capability asset management and strategic planning consistent with financial and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure business rules and processes are appropriately documented, expectations are managed, and adherence to financial management procedures are followed.
  • Manage the receipt and storage of supercomputing capability assets in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Ensure retirement, sanitization, and disposal of supercomputing assets is managed in an environmentally friendly and ethical manner.

This position has people management responsibility and requires exercise of people management skills and knowledge to lead a high-performing and cohesive team.
