Job Overview

A highly visible and impactful role exists for a Legal Counsel Contracts and Delivery professional to join an in-house legal team. You will collaborate with executives, project leaders, and clients to influence strategy and manage risk across major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work across the full project lifecycle, from pre-contract through to delivery.
  • Advise on a broad range of contract models, including D&C, EPC, lump sum, target cost, cost reimbursable, alliances, frameworks, and joint ventures.
  • Lead front-end contracting, including drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment.
  • Provide clear, practical advice on contract risk, disputes, and compliance to support decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with executives, delivery teams, and clients to resolve issues effectively.
  • Help refine internal legal processes, policies, and templates to improve efficiency and embed best practice.

In addition to projects, you will also gain exposure to insurance, PPSA, governance matters, privacy and data protection, supplier and service agreements, and workplace relations issues.
