About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paediatric Medicine Trainee to join our team at ACT Health. As a Paediatric Registrar, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our paediatric services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide competent and efficient clinical management of patients under the supervision of a Consultant Medical Practitioner.
  • Participate in the supervision, training, and professional development of junior medical staff and medical students.
  • Demonstrate progress in training in the specialty, including participation in relevant teaching programs and activities.
  • Participate in the after-hours roster and contribute to clinical audit.
  • Maintain accurate and legible medical records and ensure timely completion of discharge summaries.
Requirements
  • Be registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Hold Advanced Paediatric Life Support certification or equivalent.
  • Meet the eligibility criteria for membership of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP).
  • Be available for weekend and after-hours work.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to training and continuing professional development.
