About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support young people in our Residential Care homes and community.

As a Support Worker, you will engage with young people to provide a sense of safety, structure, acceptance, stability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young people in all aspects of life, both in the home and wider community.
  • Implement strategies identified in care plans and participate in regular review of these plans to ensure clear, relevant, and achievable goals.
  • Facilitate planned contact and connectedness to family as approved by child safety services.
  • Support social, recreational, educational, and health activities for young people in line with their individual care plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention/Community Services or working towards this qualification (proof of enrolment required).
  • Alternative qualifications or working towards: Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services, or Youth Work; Diploma in Behavioural Science, Counselling, Nursing, or Mental Health.
