Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians in Brisbane. The role involves working with building automation systems, diagnosing and repairing issues, and providing excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair existing installed base of building automation systems using knowledge of direct digital controls (DDC), airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and applied control strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues, quote remedial works, and perform ongoing planned maintenance.
  • Represent the company as the direct customer contact, responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, quoting, repairing equipment and systems at customers' locations.
  • Coordinate with team leaders and customers to precisely understand requirements for all on-site repairs by examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site work within a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in the relevant industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Current QLD driver's license.
  • Construction Induction Card.
  • Trade Qualified in a relevant trade.
  • Thorough understanding of HSE industry requirements.
  • Applied knowledge of BMS engineering principles and energy conservation measures.
  • Hands-on experience in building management systems.
  • Experience working on small service projects.
  • Technical knowledge in HVAC and Central Plant or Energy Solutions environments.
  • High level of technical competency in BMS and related control products/devices.
