Exciting Opportunity for a Commercial/Intellectual Property Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial/Intellectual Property Lawyer to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing law firm that is disrupting the traditional model of legal services.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented lawyer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial law and intellectual property law. You will have a strong attention to detail, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting for a broad client base Australia-wide on intellectual property law, predominantly trade marks, and commercial transactions including commercial contracts, corporate/business law, privacy law, employment law, defamation, and non-TM intellectual property.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of commercial and intellectual property matters.
  • Working closely with the managing principal and other team members to achieve business objectives and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Admitted solicitor in Australia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial law and intellectual property law.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
