Exciting Opportunity for a Commercial/Intellectual Property Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial/Intellectual Property Lawyer to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad client base across Australia, advising on a range of commercial and intellectual property matters.

As a Commercial/Intellectual Property Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your own practice and clients, advising on a range of commercial and intellectual property matters, including:

  • Intellectual property law, predominantly trade marks;
  • Commercial transactions, including commercial contracts, corporate/business law, privacy law, employment law, defamation, and non-TM intellectual property.

Requirements

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

  • Are an admitted solicitor in Australia;
  • Have a minimum of 2 years (or more) experience in commercial law (essential) and intellectual property law (preferable not essential);
  • Have high attention to detail, strong drafting/communication/people skills, and commercial acumen;
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit willing to participate in business development/marketing;
