About This Role

As a senior risk professional, you will lead the risk management function on one of our major programs. In this position, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks within our organization.

  • You will provide subject matter expertise to support the program in its risk management practices.
  • Ensure that business operations align with frameworks, policies, standards, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and risk appetite.
  • Manage a team of risk professionals and partner with stakeholders across the business to uplift capability.
  • Contribute to a community of practice to share best practice and allocate resource to areas of highest need.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the risk management function on one of our major programs.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses.
  • Collaborate with other Risk Managers and work within our Risk and Compliance Management Framework.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify and enable more efficient and effective risk practices.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a Line 1 or Line 2 risk and compliance role, preferably within banking or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience as a subject matter expert (specifically technology risk in change), supporting the learning and development of business stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, economics, finance, risk, compliance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including ability to influence senior stakeholders.
